Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse closed Thursday on a negative note for the second session in a row, on the back of the banks sector.
The benchmark shed 0.55% or 6.32 points to the level of 1,146.37 points.
Trading volume reached 21.24 million shares exchanged at BHD 13.41 million.
The hotel and tourism sector topped the worst performing sectors falling 1.02%, weighted by Gulf Hotels which decreased 1.54%.
The banks sector was also down 1.01%, affected by the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) and Al Ahli United Bank (AUB) which levelled down 2.78% and 2.33%, respectively.
